 No
project can succeed without a well defined and coordinated
design. The time honored method for project construction has
always been performed in distinct phases, whereby an architect
is first selected to complete the design and project plans
and then the builder is selected to construct the project.
This approach has not always proven to be the most comprehensive
as oftentimes means, methods and costs can be identified during
the design phase, which in turn can impact the efficiency,
cost effectiveness and schedule during construction.

An approach based on delivering the greatest value achievable
within a defined budget and schedule is known as design-build.
Under this approach, we will assist the owner in selecting
an architect that is best suited to their specific project
requirements and design expectations. We will then work closely
with the architect during both the design and construction
phases to ensure a complete set of plans that will convey
into a finished project that meets the owner’s objectives
in terms of cost, quality, design and schedule.
In addition, Great
Falls Construction has two architects on staff, who are prepared
to work with clients from basic concept
sketches through to completed construction blueprints. This
in-house capability is best suited for smaller renovation projects.
Working with our staff can generally expedite the process and
reduce overall costs for our clients.
