★★★★★Great Falls Construction (GFC) built a fabulous custom house for us. Our experience with them from the start to the finish was outstanding. They are consummate professionals who take pride in their work, and it shows in their finished project. Their attention to detail went above and beyond. They went out of their way to deliver exactly what our architect envisioned. Because the architect was not available, they took time to visit some of his completed projects to understand exactly what they were seeing on the plans. We are enormously thankful for the suggestions they had along the way as well. For instance, they suggested that we raise the ceiling height in the basement by a foot to allow for more headroom. We went with their suggestion, and are so glad we did. It gives the space a much more open and inviting feel than it otherwise would have had. They also helped us recoup space for storage in several areas around the house that otherwise would have been closed off. There were scores of other details they helped us work through along the way, and all of them turned out great. The quality of the work is superb, and all of GFC's staff bring tremendous skill to the job. While we could comment positively on all the employees, we'll just highlight two here. The site supervisor for our house, Mike, kept tight control of every item that came into the house. He made sure that all the work was done right and on time. His supervision and attention to detail gave us the peace of mind to know that our house was being built to last. Also of special note is one of their master carpenters, Edgar. He is a highly skilled craftsman. Among other things, he outfitted the two story library with built-in bookcases, wood paneling, angled ceiling beams, and a stunning fireplace surround (pictured). We've been living in the house for several months now, and couldn't be more happy with it or with our decision to hire GFC to build it for us! We were not disappointed, they did a truly outstanding job on our project! We began working with Great Falls Construction during the architecture phase of our project. They made some great suggestions to improve the floor plan of the property, including adding a second bathroom on the main level, adding an upstairs laundry room, and putting a bathroom in the pool house. Great Falls Construction managed all aspects of the construction phase of our project. Their model of staffing a project manager and superintendent on each project really helped things flow more smoothly. All of the Great Falls Construction employees are top notch. Their subcontractors did a great job as well. Great Falls Construction did an excellent job resolving any issues that came up with the project quickly and fairly. It was obvious throughout construction that they take pride in their work and that they want their clients to be happy. We almost had to force them to leave at the end of the project because they wanted to stick around and make sure every detail was perfect. They have been easy to reach and very responsive during the warranty period for the project. They come out quickly to fix any issues that we report and the warranty work is always high quality. Fortunately, we haven't had many warranty issues, since the initial work they did was high quality. Overall, we are extremely happy with our new home. Their top-notch work added tremendous value and livability to our home. They removed and relocated walls to provide space for a large antique pool table, reconfigured the space to add two lower level bedrooms, installed a beautiful full bathroom, and added significant artistic elements including tile and stone work that really made the space special.
